Repair Credit Rating - There Is No Quick Fix

Trying to repair credit rating scores is not something you can do overnight. Neither is it something that someone else can do for you. There are ways to help you repair credit ratings, but you really do have to want to improve your rating to an acceptable level.

If you have been denied credit, chances are it is because you have a poor credit rating. To find out for sure, you can request a free copy of your credit report to see what information the report contains. Once you see that you have a lot of outstanding bills with missed or late payments, then you will have to take the necessary steps to repair credit rating. Although this won’t happen overnight, there are ways to improve your credit rating.

One of the easiest ways to improve your credit rating is to start paying your bills on time. Many people have a poor credit rating simply because they are negligent in sending in the payments because they do not realize how important this is to their credit rating. Even if you have plenty of money coming in to pay your bills each month, you could still have a low credit score and have to start to repair credit rating.

If you are having difficulty making your payments, there are still ways that you can improve your credit rating. One of these is to contact your back and arrange for a debt consolidation loan. When you use this money to pay off your outstanding bills and make the payments on the new loan on time, it goes a long way towards the repair of your credit rating. Creditors look favourably upon this because it shows that you really do care about your credit and want to improve your credit rating.

Another of the ways to improve your credit rating is to contact the creditors to see if they will take a lower monthly payment. When you are able to manage a lower payment and have it in on time, then you are also taking steps to repair credit rating. Creditors will usually work with you to find a manageable amount because they do want to receive their money back. You can also start with the lowest amount and make higher monthly payments to repair credit rating. In this way you are rebuilding your credit and getting your bills paid off at the same time.

There are some simple steps to repair credit ratings, but it takes some effort.

Say Hello To Those 0% Credit Card Deals!

Getting the best deal on a credit card is not always about jumping from one 0% APR card to another and getting a bad name for you. As you will because the credit card companies are getting wise to this and are beginning to refuse serial jumpers their credit card application.

This though is not aimed at those who up until now have found it easy to get their hands on any credit card that they choose; this article is aimed at those who find it extremely difficult to get their hands on a credit card at all and can only dream of taking advantage of all the 0% interest deals that are out there.

Your low credit rating can affect your application…

This is down to the fact that many potential credit card customers have such a low credit scoring that the credit card issuers; see them as too much of a credit risk. So they ultimately refuse issuing those with a low credit scoring the cards, as they only want those, who they see as profit making customers. This can even happen to you if you have no debt and never have had debt, as the credit card lenders only go on credit information that is held on you on their data bases. So if you have no credit history, they will more readily refuse you one of their cards.

What you have to remember though, is that you should not take your anger out on the credit card company as you have no divine right to expect them to let you borrow their cash just because you want it, they have to be sure that you are a worthy credit risk. To combat this, the first thing that you should not do is to apply again and again to different credit cards, credit agencies or banks for loans, this will only dig the hole deeper for yourself. The next time you apply for any type of credit it will be known that you have applied before and been rejected in the past, so they will find they’re answer easier to come by.

Get your credit rating background…

What you should do is contact a credit reference agency, to see where you are going wrong and maybe find the reason why the credit cards are not letting you handle they’re plastic. Ask the credit card company who have refused you, which credit reference agency they use, this will normally be one of two the main ones which are Equifax and Experian. Once you have ascertained which one it is, you can write to them asking for a detailed run down of your credit history. This will normally cost a couple of pounds, but will be a worthwhile practice to help you get your credit scoring back up.

Once that you have found out where you have gone wrong in the past, you can then begin working on getting your credit scoring up. You may wonder as how this can be done if you are not allowed credit, but by keeping your household bills up to date and paid on time, making sure that you can prove where you live, make sure that you are on the electoral role and make sure that you never lie on your application for credit. These are all simple things and if followed through, you will not only find that your credit rating will go up, you will also be able to build on it and be able to one day get the best credit card deals and when you want them.

Building Credit Ideas

There are several ways that we can build credit. If you are tired of collectors hounding you, or if you are frustrated that no one will loan you money because you never had credit, it is time to learn how to build your credit. First, and foremost never purchase items you do not need. If you ‘want’, do not let your wants wear you down and get you deeper in debt. If you are searching to build credit and have no history at all, make sure you have your priorities in order.

Bad Credit Building Credit

If you have, bad credit get a DO-IT-YOURSELF-Kit and gets the balls rolling. You can go to your public library and get books that will guide you through the steps of repairing your credit. Most libraries allow you to copy and print forms that you must fill out and then send to your credits.

There are systematic guides at your local library that has the tools for instructor debtors how to write letters to creditors. Letters are probably better than phoning creditors, since some creditors could care less about your situation and may threaten you. Another good reason for writing letters is that (copy in writing) is more valuable in a courtroom than a conversation on the phone. If something is said or an agreement is reached and the creditor later denies his or her claims then you can present this to any courtroom and they will listen to you first. Any documents that pertain to your credit history should be stored in a safe area. If you send letters to your creditors keep a copy of each letter sent and store it in a safe area. If you notice any errors on your bills or credit, reports make sure that you contact the appropriate professionals and dispute the charges immediately. If you have credit cards and used the card to purchase an item or use a service and this person sold you a defected item or else provided bad service, you DO NOT have to make payment toward the charges. You do however have to dispute the charges with the services or stores that sold you the product or service. If the sources refuse to give you an item usable, or else reimburse you for a service or product you have the right to deny payment.

Once you have disputed the charges with the sources you will then contact your card provider and let them know what occurred. If you are lucky enough to have a credit card with bad credit, use the card to repay your debts and then meet the monthly installments on the credit card each month. Ironically, you are getting out of debt while going in debt deeper. It is a solution when all else false. In other words, if you use the card to pay your debts each month and then payoff your credit cards the following month and then turnaround and uses the card to pay that month bills….

Now you see where I am going. Credit cards have interest rates so the bills each month on the card will increase.

No, Credit…No Problem

I do not need a credit line or credit card; I pay all my bills each month with money. Is this you? Well then, you have the obvious answer, but what if…

In today’s world, we are moving into an era that requires us to have at least one major credit card. When you phone any business where you have debts, they will first ask you to pay with a credit card. If you go apply for a job, apartment, mortgage, car loan, or any other credit line you most likely will get a rejection notice in the mail. Most lenders will not give credit to anyone that has no credit history. The reason is that we are expected to establish a credit line when we are teens, and if we do not the lenders are often suspicious. The lenders do not have an idea and can only base their judgments of you on assumptions. Can I assume this person will make monthly payments on time? Has this person taken for granted a loan from a friend or family member in the past and there are no records available for me to see if it is true? There are many reasons that lenders will refuse you a loan if you do not have a credit history. The best solution is starting up a line of credit now, pay off your dues on time and avoid making purchases on items you do not really need. Staying out of debt means regulating your money each month and paying your bills on time.

Credit Card Security Advice

Which of the following is the biggest threat to your credit card security?
a) Shopping online with a credit card
b) Shopping in a real store with your credit card
c) Ordering something over the phone with your credit card
The answer may surprise you. It’s b - shopping in a real store with a credit card. Despite all the controversy and publicity surrounding internet phishing and identity theft, shopping online is a relatively safe process. Credit card fraudsters are far more likely to get your credit card numbers and ID information by hacking into a bank or credit card company computer than they are to hack into an online store’s server.
The truth is that there are some dangers to using credit cards in ANY situation - and there are ways to safeguard your information and security no matter where you shop with your credit card.
When shopping online…
Only shop reputable sites. If a shopping web site has been around for a while, it’s a pretty good bet that they’re legitimate.
Always type the name of a site into your browser address bar rather than clicking on a link in your email. That way you’ll be sure that you’re going to the company’s actual site and not a fake mirror.
Use an online money transfer service rather than your usual credit card. You can fund an account with a service like Paypal via your credit card or bank account - but your information isn’t freely available. When you pay via PayPal, the only information that the seller gets about you is your email address.
When shopping in a real store…
Keep your eye on your credit card. Stores with the latest tech in credit card scanning won’t ever even handle your card - you slide it in the scanner yourself and it never leaves your possession. In stores that aren’t that hip yet, keep your eye on what’s happening with your card, and ALWAYS take your credit card receipt. Until everyone is using the latest scanners and printers that only print out the last four digits of your credit card, discarded credit card receipts are the easiest way for thieves to get hold of your credit card numbers.
When shopping by phone…
Never, ever, ever give your credit card numbers to someone who called you. No matter how good a deal sounds, insist on being given the time to confirm the identity and company of the person you’re speaking with.
As you can see, for the most part, common sense is all it takes to keep your credit card information safe!

Great deal 12500 dollar at a secure interest rate of 5.2 percent

A merchant bank in Allentown Pennsylvania or so may have a total completely different actual rate of interest for a 22500 dollar money loan then a moneylender in Bristol Tennessee and that makes a huge clear gap in your weekly costs. You should be brilliant today to check up if you have a nice deal or if you don’t with the bank that offers you a credit loan. 12.5 percent loan rate may come along so middling but will that be invariant after you’re going to pay back your credit loan.

A lot of the banks wil show you a rate that looks average but feels severely or so after some time. At this present you can check into rates quickly online and foresee if there are possible sneaky traps you should know about. now you really need to check into and cast if you can have a bank loan at a proficient percent interest rate. Examine to see if the merchant bank who is willing to give you a loan is . It doesn’t matter if you live in Alhambra California or in Meriden Connecticut a secure online investigation will alleviate you often lots of anguish.

Movie Review - The Purple Rose of Cairo (1991)

THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO (1985), the Woody Allen film with an impossible name, is the sweet and wildly imaginative Depression-era story of Cecilia, a clumsy waiter with head in the clouds in a very-depressed New Jersey, whose only solace in life are the movies she watches in total fascination at her local movie theater.

Cecilia (played by a perfectly-cast Mia Farrow) is treated like dirt by her unemployed, gambling and womanizing husband Monk (played with authority by Danny Aiello).

One day as she is watching “The Purple Rose of Cairo” at the movie theater, the handsome lead archeologist Tom Baxter (Jeff Daniels) character just walks out of the screen and declares his love to Cecilia in real life!

Pandemonium follows both on the screen (because the rest of the actors now do not know how to proceed after this unexpected violation of the scripted plot line) and the theater itself because the patrons are outraged that the story cannot be brought to a closure and they have to wait for the return of Tom Baxter for relief.

Reports reach Hollywood that in other cities Tom Baxter character is also stepping out of the screen and disappearing from sight. Who knows what he might be doing?!

The studios might end up getting sued big time. That’s why the producers fly in Gil Shepard, the actor who breathed life into the TB character, to find TB and convince him to return to the movie so that they can turn off the movie projector safely, without any legal repercussions! (How can anyone not respect such daring imagination!)

Gil Shepard (again played by Jeff Daniels) also falls in love with Cecilia and promises to take her to Hollywood if she returns his love.

Cecilia is torn between two attractive lovers who are both promising to take her to a world much better than what her good-for-nothing parasitic husband can provide.

One very touching scene that brought tears to my eyes shows Tom Baxter, the fictitious character who has no idea about the realities of the world, is taken to a brothel by a hooker he meets at a deserted amusement park.

The call girls are captivated by this handsome but awkward guy wearing a pitted helmet and safari outfit in the middle of New Jersey. They try to steer him to bed but he refuses all advances by declaring that it is impossible for him to bed with another woman since his heart totally belongs to Cecilia.

In the face of such impossibly pure and untainted love, one of the hookers asks him if there are “more guys like you out there” because she’d certainly love to get one for herself.

That’s a scene which drives home the message that sometimes fictitious characters and figments of our imagination live a life more noble and meaningful that we “real people” can ever hope to lead.

At the end Cecilia believes in Gil Shepard’s promises. Tom Baxter steps back into the movie, heart broken.

And just as we thought the matter is settled and Cecilia will sail towards a happy end, she realizes that there is a different future waiting for her. And there’ll always be new films to pave the way to that bittersweet future.

That very last and long-shot of Mia Farrow’s angelic face transfixed by the magic of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers is another reason why you must definitely watch this movie.

A beautiful fairy tale for adults, full of smart humor and many scenes that force us meditate on the relative merits of reality versus illusion in our daily lives.

Scores a full 9 out of 10, easily.

America - From Freedom to Fascism - A Movie by Aaron Russo

OK, I’m being a little melodramatic. Maybe it was the reaction of the audience or maybe it was the standing ovation in the over-filled-to-capacity auditorium; but I got a little choked up by the 90 minute screening of a new documentary called “America - From Freedom to Fascism”. The movie was shown for free at Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, New York Saturday the 24th of March. It was produced and directed by Aaron Russo, director of such films as “The Rose” with Bette Midler and “Trading Places” with Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy. He was also involved in bringing the rock group “Led Zeppelin” to America. Russo also ran for governor of Nevada and President of the United States under the Libertarian Party.

The film dealt with the dubiousness of the privately-owned Federal Reserve Bank (I never knew that - it does say “Federal” right in the name) that bankrolls our Government. No conflict of interest there, eh boys and girls? Another large topic was the fear tactics of the IRS and the actual legitimacy of the income tax based on the old argument of the 16th Amendment of 1913 never having been ratified. Like, if proved to be true, we’ll all get a lifetime of refunds plus penalty and interest from the IRS.

One of the scariest subjects for me was “The New World Order”. No, I’m not talking about the dispute over the source of drinking water in Saratoga Springs, New York. I’m talking about National ID cards with radio chips in them (already manufactured), as well as micro tracking devices in cash, credit cards and virtually all purchases made by the consumer. Now there’s something I can’t wait to pass on to my kids along with WalMart’s “Low (sweatshop) Prices Every Day.” Under the guise of the Patriot Act, these devices, no larger than a grain of rice, will ultimately be planted into every human body. Go ahead and laugh, they already do it with unruly dogs! Other subjects touched on were the vulnerability of electronic voting machines and “big business” influencing government to turn a blind eye to illegal immigrants crossing our borders so they can capitalize on cheap labor.

Although political in nature, the flick seemed unbiased towards either the “Republocrats” or “Demicans” (I still haven’t figured out the difference between the two). Laced with humor, the movie was well-presented, thought provoking and dealt with what appeared to be undisputable facts backed up by congressmen, historians, four IRS agents, lawyers and legal advocates. With all the hype in recent years for Michael Moore’s and other political agenda movies, this documentary seemed less predictable and never came close to putting me to sleep. I didn’t buy into every premise of the movie, but if you didn’t leave this flick with at least some feeling of enlightenment, patriotism and a desire to be more vigilant with your government, you probably hated Jimmy Stewart in “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” too.

The film was presented by my local political hero Bob Schulz of Fort Ann, New York (about 25 miles north of Saratoga Springs). Schulz is a Jeffersonian and champion of the U.S. Constitution. He is also a founder of the We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education, a national nonprofit organization working to challenge unconstitutional and unlawful conduct by government. He comes across as an educated, passionate and articulate man who has worked on Wall Street, high-level government jobs and served honorably in the Air Force. He never thought that his government was anything but benevolent; a word he likes to use often. His naiveté was to be challenged. Wronged by his local Town Board back in the mid 80’s, Schulz turned into a government watchdog. He came to realize he could ask for a “redress of grievances” per the First Amendment of the Constitution as a pro se litigant (representing himself in court without the aid of a lawyer) and started filing his own petitions in all levels of the judicial system. He has never looked back. “Ours is a fragile system, and we are in a battle for freedom that’s never more than one generation from extinction,” Schulz said prior to the movie. He will, in his own words, continue [monitoring government] until he dies.

Although I don’t agree with everything he does, I can’t help but respect Schulz for his diligence and sacrifices. He is not unlike our Founding Fathers; putting his wealth and reputation on the line. While many others (myself included) complain and do nothing as our government spins out of control, Schulz talks the talk and walks the walk. People like him, for whatever reason or motivation, seem to make the world a better place for the rest of us.

For more information and to keep track of where and when Aaron Russo’s movie will be available for viewing, check out Schulz’s website at http://GiveMeLiberty.org Then judge for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

“I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.” Thomas Jefferson

Your Intra National Real Estate Space - Simplified by The Property Index Online Company

Overseas property specialists Property Index sell a range of properties such as apartments and villas.

Though the Property Index is actually a fledgling organization, they were founded in March 2007, they were very quick to achieve expert status. Actually, they are a very unostentatious organization devoted to offering informed instructions to every client who is expecting to sell, buy, rent, etc. estate across the globe. What they guarantee to do is be of assistance to you to discover just what you need quick and, further, painlessly. Property can be found across the globe at the moment, undoubtedly the high-class area being land available for sale in Spain. It should be simply to determine the great property available for sale in Spain, one rationale for choosing property here being a combination of the houses and apartments available and the chance of being able to live amongst such a dynamical populace.

It’s one of the most fashionable property markets at the moment, and in view of the gorgeous landscape and the great weather surrounding you all the time, how could you be wrong…. Property in Spain is very rich in history and culture, this area of the world has been and is still home to a good number of indigenous civilizations. About twenty years ago there’d be a mere trickle of English people keen on property in Spain. Just ask anyone who has moved to Spain and they will be certain to confirm this. Quite a few people would tend to see it as a temporary rage and others tend to see it as a that’s nearly a fixation! People who relocate to this region range from young couples in search of a life perspective to older people meaning to chill out and enjoy themselves.

Note that there may be predicaments when attempting to buy property overseas — as is to be expected, there will be a hundred disparate, occasionally conflicting, actions whether devising a plan, touring or signing the documents. If you only miss a single minute step this is liable to trigger wide-ranging predicaments and, more important, loss in financial terms. As can be counted on with this well-liked location, property may be extraordinarily costly in this location which is naturally a result of the high demand. In spite of this homebuyers are somewhat spoiled in a destination so wonderful in terms of good landscape and shiny scenery. It’s certainly got the whole lot you might really imagine, etc.

Northern Exposure (Season 2) DVD Review

The recipient of 39 Emmy nominations, including four for Outstanding Drama Series in just a short six season stint, Northern Exposure is one of the more interesting television shows of its decade. The offspring of St. Elsewhere creators Joshua Brand and John Falsey, Northern Exposure originally aired in July of 1990, but only lasted five years because critics loved the show more than audiences…

Northern Exposure centers around the life of a recent medical school graduate named Joel Fleishman (Rob Morrow) who, not reading the fine print in his student loans, realizes he must practice medicine in the frozen tundra of Alaska. Even worse, he’ll be the only doctor in the tiny town of Cicely, a place populated by oddball characters of every sort such as ex-NASA astronaut Maurice Minnifield, bush pilot Maggie O’Connell (Janine Turner), KBHR radio deejay Chris Stevens (John Corbett), aspiring filmmaker Ed Chigliak (Darren E. Burrows), and bartending couple Holling (John Cullum) and Shelly Vincoeur (Cynthia Geary). It’s a fine recipe for some hilarious situations.

The Northern Exposure (Season 2) DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere “Goodbye to All That” in which Joel learns that Elaine has left to marry a judge several years her elder. Meanwhile, Holling buys a satellite dish but regrets it when Shelly becomes addicted to international TV… Other notable episodes from Season 2 include “All is Vanity” in which Maggie persuades Joel to pose as her boyfriend in order to trick her father, and “Slow Dance” in which Shelly becomes jealous when Holling enjoys a reunion with a woman from his past…

Alias (DVD) Review

Premiering in September 2001, Alias has built a steady and loyal following among television viewers. The show combines the fast pace action sequences of 24 with the conspiracy theory backdrop of the X-Files. It also doesn’t hurt that the show centers itself around a character that’s a beautiful and mysterious woman. But the true strength of Alias, as with most successful TV shows, is its unique and creative writers who manage to always keep their audience on edge…

Jennifer Garner (star of 13 Going On Thirty) plays the role of Sydney Anne Bristow, a beautiful, intelligent American woman recruited to work for the government’s super secret SD-6 agency. However, problems arise when her fiancé is murdered by the agency she works for, and she ultimately discovers that SD-6 is not a legitimate government organization at all… In seek of revenge, Sydney contacts the CIA, and they deploy her as a double agent. Meanwhile, Sydney’s estranged father, Jack (Victor Garber), also works as a double agent, and their relationship blossoms as a result of their work. Together, they manage to eliminate SD-6, and now both work full-time for the CIA where they’re accompanied by fellow colleagues Marshall Flinkman (Kevin Weisman), Marcus Dixon (Carl Lumbly), and Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan)…

The Alias DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the season premiere “Truth Be Told” in which Sydney, against her better judgment, confides in her fiancé Danny the secrets of her SD-6 affiliation. Some time later, Danny is murdered, and Sydney finds reason to believe that SD-6 is involved in his death. She also comes to the realization that SD-6 (which also employs her father) is not a branch of the CIA, but an anti-US government force working against it. Sydney agrees to work with the CIA as a double agent, and along the way, she learns that her father is also a double agent. Episode one sets the framework for the remainder of the series… Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “Time Will Tell” in which Sydney is forced to take a lie detector test while SD-6 attempts to identify the mole within its ranks, and “Snowman” in which the SD-6 rival K-Directorate dispatches as assassin known as the “Snowman” to eliminate the newcomer Khasinau (alias “the man”)…
