Super Cross and Extreme Sport Stadium Lighting

Adrenaline rushing into their veins with such intensity everyone in the stadium can feel, it the extreme sport man is at his peak. Human energy is felt through out the event arena. But we can do nothing with this energy, we cannot use it to power up the stadium lights or harvest it. Or can we?

In fact we can, harvest some of this energy along with the roar of the engines and motors. You see when fans scream, clap their hands and stamp their feat they produce vibrational energy that is quite intense and even collectable. I propose to use this energy to light up the entire stadium like never before, without plugging into the power grid. How so? By placing large sandwich sheets in series. Each sheet with a taunt film on the vibrational side and small copper lined tubes inside, hundreds of them running perpendicular to the sheets, with magnets inside bouncing back and forth. These magnets will charge a capacitor and be hooked up to an LED lighting system using fiber optics or reflectors, each one hooked up to a .2 to .5 watt light. With hundreds of thousands of lights hooked up in a composite format, like the eye of an insect, it will light up the track and since the lights can shine down on the track in the direction of the race it would be like daylight without the light pollution associated with stadium lights in large cities. Maybe with free lighting costs they can lower the ticket prices?

The tunnels to the snack bar and restrooms indeed also echo and vibrate and can be lit up just as easy. Currently this technology is being used in those little flashlights you see advertised on television that you shake and they light, but you never need batteries. This idea of lighting up the stadium, tunnels, snack bar, bathrooms and even the parking lot would be is using that technology on a larger scale with miniaturized parts making up the guts between the sandwich sheets. Let there be light, thru vibrational energy and there was. Everyone loved it, even when the city lost power that night no one even missed a beat, they had no idea the city had gone dark. Think on it.

Upgrading the Stock Air Box on Your Victory Motorcycle

Removing the Stock Air Intake System on a Victory Motorcycle

With the basic need of all motorcyclists being the need for more horsepower. I decided to upgrade my Victory motorcycle from the stock air intake to a custom aftermarket air filter. Why? The stock air boxes are often too restrictive. They do not allow enough air to freely flow into the engine. The Victory stock air box is a mechanical suction. The air is sucked in through the left side of the coffin like air box. There are a few modifications that can be done to the stock filter to get a direct flow of air into the throttle bodies. But these require drilling ugly 1-inch holes in the front of your cheap looking plastic air box.

The theory behind this is that you will be producing a Ram-Air effect. This is where fresh yummy colder air gets forced in through the strategically drilled holes. Free flowing is the key, no ninety-degree turns and bends for the air to travel. This is all good, but you are still limited by what the stock Victory air box can provide. Especially when you upgrade the exhaust. With such an upgrade, you will need to be ingesting more air for the exhaust to work at its peak performance.

The other benefit of removing the stock air box and replacing it with a high-performance custom air box, is the esthetics of the look of the new air box in place of the stock air box. Some aftermarket high-performance air filter kits, like the Eaglecat, make your Victory look like a custom motorcycle once it is installed. This alone is reason enough to do the air box upgrade.

Having given the reasons why, let’s now discuss the technical procedure for removing your stock Victory air box. We will follow up by showing you how to install one of the many aftermarket performance air box kits.

Wear the Perfect-fit Helmet

Motorcycle accessories like helmet, are a matter of personal choice. In that case, aesthetic side often succeeds over anything else. At any rate, this has contributed why safety is overlooked.

To shun misconceptions in choosing motorcycle helmets, here are some of the factors that you have to consider:

Shape

This is the most important factor that you have to understand before purchasing a helmet. Riders come in varying head shapes. These shapes include round, oval, egg, reverse egg and earth. Helmets are also particularly made to cater to these varying head shapes. Thus, the choice is given to the purchasers. They must select the most appropriate helmet shape that will greatly support their head.

Visibility

Be sure that your helmet gives you appropriate peripheral vision. This is simply to avoid accidents and other untoward incidents.

Liners

Liners vary depending on the design, material and shape of the helmet. Liners must give comfort and protection to the rider. Thus, it must be compatible with the rider’s needs.

Liners that give pressure points must be avoided. Pressure points are usually located against the temples, forehead and cheeks. Helmet liner ’skull cap’ is preferable. Moreover, it is better if you personally try the helmet before purchasing it. This is to ensure that it will not be burdensome in the future.

Color

Color is important in the sense that it affects conspicuity. Bright colors are preferable over solid and dull ones. The purpose is to make the rider visible even during nighttime. This is to avoid collisions and the like.

Before you purchase a helmet, make sure that you are knowledgeable of all the factors involve. You do not purchase simply because it is hot or at the moment hype.

Also, before purchasing, wear it first for an extended period to be sure of the fit and feel. Wear ear plugs to be acquainted with the surrounding sounds.

Some of the leading motorcycle helmet manufacturers are Arai, Bell, Icon, AGV, Nolan, Thor, Erex. The helmets they are releasing are mostly tested and approved by Snell and DOT. Choosing is using your mind and your senses…

Diminished Value Remains a Debatable Issue

The right to receiving a diminished value payment has been debated between insurers and consumers for a long time. Insurers make the claim that the diminished value of a car after it has been in a wreck is not covered by automobile insurance polices. Consumers counter that they are entitled to the diminished value. The Insurance Services Office (ISO) sided with insurers and developed policy language in favor of the insurance companies, releasing them of the obligation to pay out the diminished value. However, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas and Maryland has not approved ISO’s exclusion and consumers still have a right to file a diminished value claim.

In order to prevent honoring diminished value claims, some auto insurers adopt their own policy language. You should familiarize yourself with your own auto policy before you get into an accident in order to lessen the surprise of not receiving the diminished value for your car. If there is a diminished value exclusion within your policy, it generally is located near the end of your policy as an “auto exclusion endorsement.” Many people are blindsided by this exclusion because they expect to recoup enough money to make up for their loss. The exception to this rule is in Georgia, where car owners have a right to receive the diminished value of their car.

Get a new home with bkr loan, 492777 euro in a week

Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 8 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 7 percentage. And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. See which lenders are charging fees 8 percent and for how much. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 10 percent. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 10 percent. Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 4 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 11 percent. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ Different lenders charge different fees. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 5 percent offered by competitors will change.

Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 10 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering.

Methods to Fight Spam!!!

Fighting Spam..

Industry experts estimate that three out of every five e-mail messages that are sent today are spam.

This is not only a nuisance; it is costing us all time and money which could be better spent on productive ventures.

Bizwala is committed to fighting spam & blocks a great deal without customer intervention. Our systems are updated daily and we are always working to improve our spam filtering.

Though we may never be able to block it all, we can offer some suggestions to combat spam effectively. —————————————————————– ——— Q: How can I prevent spam from reaching my e-mail account?

A: People who send spam compile their mailing lists in many ways. Methods to compile such lists include:

Sending spam to e-mail addresses that are most commonly used. A common tactic consists of building lists of targeted addresses that use frequently used words such as “webmaster” or “info” (for example, “webmaster@mydomainname” or “info@mydomainname”).

Obtaining e-mail addresses that are automatically “harvested” from web sites by specialized software.

Compiling lists of e-mail addresses that are either chosen or generate at random (for example, ” joe1@mydomainname”, “joe2@mydomainname” or “joe3@mydomainname”. This method is becoming increasingly frequent.

Because spammers often send spam to undefined e-mail aliases such as aabbcc@domain.com, ccddee@domain.com, mfrds@domain.com, you can combat the receipt of spam effectively by not using a catch-all address . (The catch-all is an alias that is used to recieve mail sent to undefined addresses/aliases .)

Q: What is spoofing and how can I fight it?

A: “Spoofing” occurs when a spammer uses some version of your domain name in the “From” address field. Spammers use spoofing to try to hide their identities and to pass blame for spam to innocent Internet users. The large amount of spam messages — many of which are sent to invalid address — result in a significant amount of “bounced” e-mail (that is, mail that returned as being undeliverable). Unfortunately, bounced mail is sent back to the address found in the “From” line of the spammed message. Typically, the “From” line is also an undefined e-mail address not found in your mail settings. To combat receiving bounced mail messages, you can use the “devnull” alias that we mentioned in the previous question and answer.

Q: Even if my account is not generating any spam, can the mail server I use get blocked because of spam?

Unfortunately, yes. The main cause for blacklisting your mail server depends on where the spammed e-mail is ultimately received and how the ISP who maintains that location reacts to spam and to spam complaints. Many account holders with Bizwala forward e-mail messages that are sent to there hosting account. For example, a message sent to info@mydomainname could be forwarded to myaccount@aol.com or myaccount@yahoo.com. At other times, clients may be forwarding e-mail messages to accounts that are invalid or otherwise not in use. The processing of the forwarded e-mail message is handled by the mail server that your account uses (specifically, the MTA or Mail Transport Agent). Because a Bizwala mail server is the MTA, it is possible that the mail server could be blacklisted even though you (or any other Bizwala client) is not responsible for sending the spam in the first place.

In short, you must be careful about where you forward e-mail, how you report spam, and to whom you report it.

Note: Bizwala reserves the right to terminate a client’s services for violations of our Acceptable Use policy. Unacceptable use includes forwarding e-mail messages to addresses that are invalid (not within the client’s control) and/or sending mail with malicious intent.

Q: How can I filter spam in my Inbox once I receive it?

First, do NOT click any links in the spam or try to reply or unsubscribe to the spammed e-mail message. Often, these links will subscribe you to even more spam lists despite the fact that those links appear to promise that you will be unsubscribed. And, as spammers are always looking for legitimate e-mail addresses to spam, replying to a spam message in any way only tells the spammer that your e-mail address is valid.

Second, some e-mail programs have built-in functionality that deals with spam that reaches your Inbox. Outlook 2000 (and newer) is one such a e-mail program.

Outlook creates a folder called Junk Mail, where you can move junk e-mail and then review it before deleting. Or, you can have junk e-mail delivered to your Inbox, but color-coded so you can easily identify it. The list of terms that Outlook uses to filter suspected junk e-mail messages is found in a file named Filters.txt.

You can also filter messages based on the e-mail addresses of junk and adult content senders, allowing you to move or delete all future messages from a particular sender. You can review the Junk Senders list and add and remove e-mail addresses from it.

If you do not use Outlook 2000 or higher, please refer to your mail program’s help files for any information related to spam filtering.

Q: Are there any low cost programs out there that I can install to help filter the spam?

A: Yes. There are many programs available that use a variety of methods to help e-mail end users filter spam. Effective spam prevention should include client-side software (that is, software that is installed on your local computer). Below are some links that you may want to visit:

Cloudmark Safety Bar: http://www.cloudmark.com

Realize that there are many products on the market that you can install on help filter spam. However, as we are not affiliated with the vendors or authors of those products, we cannot specify which of those products would work best for your specific situation. We ask that you “do your research” in order to locate which product is best for you.

Q: The spam that is reaching me is being sent to defined e-mail accounts. What can I do about it?

A: If any of your defined e-mail addresses are receiving too many spam messages, it may be well worth it to you to change your e-mail address. For example, if “info@mydomainname” is the recipient of too much spam, it may be a good idea to delete “info@mydomainname” in favor of “information@mydomainname. We realize that this may be a tough decision, but such an action could be a huge benefit as it would immediately reduce — if not entirely eliminate — the amount of spam that you would be receiving at your e-mail address.

Q: How can I prevent my e-mail address from being added to spammer’s mailing lists?

A: As mentioned above, spammers use a variety of methods to compile lists. We have created a help document that will give you some useful tips about how to prevent your e-mail addresses from being added to lists.

Protect Your Privacy

If you plan to enter your information to any Web site, please review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policies of the Web site. If the policies do not clearly indicate what will be done with your information, you should reconsider posting any details to that Web site.

Publishing Your E-mail Address on Your Web Site

Instead of having a simple “mailto” link on your Web site, such as “Please e-mail me at joe@example.com,” consider using an approved form mail script that allows Web site visitors to fill out a form to send you e-mail. Bizwala offers such a script free of charge. This will help prevent e-mail address harvesting robots and other spammers from capturing your address. email support@bizwala.net if you need assistance in setting up a spam deterrent form mail

Member Profiles

Try to stay away from creating and posting a member profile, on any Web site, for others to see publicly. Spammers are always reviewing such information for new e-mail addresses.

Product Registration

Many of us register products online. Many times the product registration form has options pre-selected that enable the company to solicit you by e-mail, even though you may not want it. Be sure to review the options you are selecting and any options that may have been selected for you by default.

Posting to a Newsgroup

Never post anything to a newsgroup with your real e-mail address. Consider cloaking the address or using a “disposable” e-mail address. Consider creating and using an e-mail address from one of the free e-mail address providers.

Do Not Reply to Spam or an Unsubscribe Request

Never reply to a piece of spam or request to be unsubscribed. Your reply confirms that your address is working and provides the spammer the opportunity to add your address to their list or sell it to another entity. This actually helps facilitate more spam.

Report Spam

An effective way to help prevent spam is to report it to the ISP or mail administrator where the spam originated. Such reports help ISPs to identify the user or users who sent the spam. Report the spam, including full headers from the spam, to the ISP abuse department or postmaster e-mail address.

Federal law strictly limits the information that online service providers may disclose about their users. However, e-mail messages do contain some information about the sender.

E-mail headers contain an Internet Protocol (IP) address that corresponds to the sender’s Internet service provider (ISP). A line in the e-mail message contains an 8 to 12 digit number, separated by periods. For example: “Received: from [123.456.78.91] by . . .” The “123.456.78.91″ represents the ISP’s unique IP address for the sender. Most spam headers have multiple “Received: from” lines. If the e-mail message has not been forged then, in general, the first such line from the bottom is the true origin of the spammed message.

After you identify the IP address, you can search to determine which ISP provides this person with Internet access. A Web site that attempts to determine the actual computer with that IP address is located at http://www.arin.net/whois/index.html

What are Viruses - Worms - Trojan Horses - Adware - Spyware - Firewalls - Spam - Popups

What are viruses?

Viruses - A virus is a software program that is capable of replicating with little or no user intervention, and the replicated programs also replicate further. Viruses piggyback on real programs. For example, a virus may attach itself to a program such as a spreadsheet program. Each time the spreadsheet program runs, the virus runs as well, and it has the opportunity to reproduce by attaching to other programs. The purpose of a virus can be anything from erasing files, formatting your hard drive, to replacing text in your document Viruses are often disguised as games or images with clever titles such as “Pictures of ME”. E-mail Viruses - An email virus moves around in e-mail messages, and usually replicates itself by automatically mailing itself to the people in the victim’s e-mail address book.

Worms - A worm is a virus that spreads by creating duplicates of itself on other drives, systems, or networks. Worms may send copies of themselves to other computers across network connections, through e-mails, through infected web pages, or through instant messages. Trojan Horses - This program may claim to do one thing (such as claiming to be a game) but instead does damage when you run it. Trojan horses are not technically viruses, since they do not replicate.

What is adware?

Adware is added to your computer generally without your knowledge when you download anything free over the Internet. This method of downloading is known as “stealth software” or “drive-by downloads”. Your computer could have been infected by mal-ware during online activities such as downloading music, pictures, shareware programs like screensavers and animated cursors, popup ads, email attachments or by even visiting some websites that use Active X coding to insert parasites onto your computer. Pay particular attention to the fine print when downloaing anything over the Internet. Some programs include brief information in the Terms and Conditions related to serving you targeted ads based on your shopping habits.

What is Spyware,

Spyware is software that gathers user information through the user’s Internet connection usually without his or her knowledge, typically for advertising purposes. Spyware is downloaded through the Internet. Once installed, the spyware monitors user activity on the Internet and transmits that information in the background to someone else. Spyware can also gather information about email addresses and even passwords and credit card numbers.

What are hackers?

Firewalls keep people from accessing your computer with malicious intent when you are connected to the internet. A firewall allows “good” data traffic and will block all “bad” data traffic. An example of good traffic would be surfing the web, downloading reputable files, chatting, etc. The things you enjoy doing on your computer. The bad traffic is what hackers enjoy doing on your computer such as stealing files, using a Trojan to control your computer, and disrupting your connection or network. Each computer contains ports which are entrances for hackers to invade your computer. A firewall goes to each of these ports and monitors everything that is going in and out of your computer, it makes sure that the proper ports that allow the “good” data are opened, and it closes the ports to “bad” data.

What is identity theft?

Adware programs gather information from your computer for marketing purposes. The information is used to decide, for instance, which advertisements to display when you are on a specific Web site or which advertisements to display in pop-up windows on your desktop.

What is spam?

Spam is unsolicited email, not unwanted email. If you have signed up for an email list and receive an email that is not spam. If you unsubscribe to that list and continue to receive emails then that becomes spam. While spam is annoying it is generally not dangerous to you or your PC. In January of 2004 the federal Can Spam law took effect with broad reaching requirements and penalties. Tip: if you see a company name and address at the bottom of an email, that generally means you can use the remove link and it will be honored as they are following the Can Spam law. If you do not see an address and only a remove link, then it is not a good idea to use that link as that would indicate a live email address to the spammers.

What are popups?

Popups There are two distinct typeds of popups. Browser based popups - when you are visiting a website and the website generates a popup. Adware based popups - when you are not “moving around” the internet and just start getting popups. Both tend to be annoying but may not be dangerous. Copyright © PCSecurityShield.com

Putting Your Poker Opponent on a Hand

One of the biggest mistakes poker players make is to focus only on their own hand rather than trying to figure out what their opponent has. Putting your opponent on a range of hands is crucial because you won’t always have a great hand, sometimes you’ll need to pull off some big bluffs or make difficult calls based on what you believe your opponent has.

Let’s try and put a poker opponent on their hand. It’s the second level of a single table sit-n-go tournament (15/30 blinds) and the villain is 2nd to act pre-flop with 2,380 in chips while our hero is in the big blind with 1,970 in chips. So far the villain has been raising often and betting with mediocre hands and draws. He min-raises to 60, the player in the cutoff calls and the hero has AdJc and decides to call the extra 30 and see the flop. The flop comes Jd5h4d giving our hero top pair top kicker as well as a backdoor nut flush draw. Being first to act our hero bets 120 into the 195 chip pot. The villain min-raises to 240, and the other player folds.

What does our opponent have? Possible holdings for him include a pair of jacks with a smaller kicker, a flush draw, a pair in his hand (66-TT or even QQ or KK), and possibly a flopped set. It’s hard to tell whether we are ahead or behind at this point so our hero puts in a 3rd raise to try to narrow this range down. Our opponent then min-raises again. His raises are small which could mean he has a big hand, but our hero, getting good odds, calls the bet planning to shut down if the villain shows strength again on the turn. The turn is the 9h and our hero checks and the villain does as well. This is a huge clue. There are two flush draws on the board so if our opponent has a set or a large pair they would usually bet this turn to try to get any draws to fold. He likely does not have strong hand. The 2h falls on the river completing a possible flush draw and when our hero checks the villain bets only 1/3 of the pot. He either really wants to get called or wants us to think he wants a call. It’s a tough spot but our hero is beating almost every possible hand we can put the villain on other than two hearts. The hero makes the call and the villain shows Ah9s for a pair of nines and the pair of jacks takes the pot. The villain could have won this poker hand with a bet on the turn, but by checking he exposed the weakness of his hand and therefore gave our hero the ammunition needed to make a tough call on the river.
